A customer asks for having the option to open object actions (view, edit, copy, …) from the object tables in a new tab.
Currently these options are created as HTML buttons. With that buttons, the browser does not provide the context menu to open link in a new tab. If possible, we should use HTML a tags to render the links.
can you please have a look at that user story? By refactoring the object tables, can we have that story in mind?
I am still not quite sure if we should really implement this feature. In principle, this fundamentally violates the single page principle of Angular. Starting with Angular 10 we can't simply _blank links either, because they can't be compiled. At the moment I can implement it via portals, but this will cause us major problems with the next Angular update.
As this will be handled by the new table component, I’ll move that to the existing Sprint
This is finished by So, I will close that issue.
